National Margarita Day // Colorado Wedding Planner

If I love one thing, it's a perfect margarita - no salt, on the rocks. Usually, the day after planning a successful wedding, about the time the happy couple is jetting off to a romantic honeymoon, you can find me on a patio celebrating with said margarita.

That's why when Sara of Sara Lynn Photographic mentioned she wanted to do a vignette shoot focused around margaritas, I was on board instantaneously.

Our bar cart had so many beautiful elements that it's hard to know where to start. We focused on natural elements - natural wood, whites, greens, terracotta - with some pops of color and modern, geometric shapes for good measure.

Emma from Emma Lea Floral helped make the vision really come to life. She paired interesting cacti with stark white pots and created a lovely focal piece. Brenton from Bohemian Woodworx lent us a gorgeous hand crafted natural wood box. Sophie from Sweet Zion Paperie designed some festive papers including an invitation and recipe card. I spent many-a-hours sourcing the perfect pieces. All of these items united atop the most perfect bar cart built by the one and only Jordan from Moss Denver. The result? ...

(And please meet the beginning - and end - of my modeling career. Thanks to Sara for making me feel super at ease in front of her camera. There's a knack to that, people! You should always be personally at ease with your photographer... it's one of the things I remind my couples of when choosing a photographer... more on that another time!)
