I'm floating through this week because the weekend was full of rest and skiing and pampering and good food in Breckenridge, Colorado.
It was an honor to be invited up to the mountain for a FAM trip. Over the course of a few days, I was able to tour all of the wonderful mountain venues and lodging options that Breckenridge has to offer. I also got to know (and love!) some other amazing Colorado wedding professionals.
Colorado brides, listen up. Breckenridge has so many options for a variety of styles, budgets and wedding sizes. Their service is top-notch, kind and attentive. Here's a sampling of some of my favorite stops on our magnificent tour...
Stop One: Mountain Thunder Lodge
Forested ceremony patio? Fireside cocktails? Yes and yes. Mountain Thunder Lodge is available year round for your winter mountain wedding or summer shin-dig. I liked the versatility this space had to offer. And, your guests would enjoy living it up in some beautiful and relaxing accommodations during their stay.
Stop Two: Sevens
Nestled at the base of Peak 7 in Breckenridge, Sevens boasts seriously amazing panoramic views, floor to ceiling windows and chic details. The ceremony deck is conveniently located just steps from the reception space. We enjoyed some cocktails in the friendly, cozy bar space.
Stop Three: Ten Mile Station
Ten Mile Station was my favorite stop on the trip and is now officially on my planning bucket-list. I mean, just look at it. This gorgeous venue boasts the rustic chic vibe that so many Colorado brides are looking for. It's truly THE Colorado experience. We arrived at Ten Mile Station via starlight sleigh ride (!!!) and enjoyed an amazing happy hour and dinner. I'll tell ya, those scallops are pretty much perfection.
The Maggie // The Village
Smack dab next to the Maggie Pond you'll find ... you guessed it, The Maggie. This casual venue atmosphere is just steps from Breckenridge Village and its ceremony deck boasts wonderful views of the slopes. It too has inviting, warm, mountain vibes and a variety of dining options.
The hubs and I decided to stay a couple of extra days in Breckenridge for a little pre-wedding season getaway. We took some time to wander the town and enjoyed this season's last ski day. The Spring Fever Concert series was happening, and so yes, we saw Third Eye Blind on the side of a mountain. We also might have seen a man, in tiny skis, do a cartwheel in a bar. Oh, how I love belly laughing. Such a great weekend!
