Last week I shared newborn photos of our precious bundle, Stirling. Today, here's a peek into his Colorado adventure nursery.
I by no means consider myself to be especially gifted in the interior design department, but the process of creating Stirling's nursery was a blast. As an introvert, the idea of home is super important to me. Spaces that are peaceful give me life and help me recharge and rest. So, creating a space for our new baby was not as much about the decor, but more a sweet exercise in anticipation and excitement.
Stirling's room was definitely a team effort. We chose not to find out the gender during my pregnancy, so a neutral nursery it was. Scott was the mastermind behind the mountain mural, and we selected a lot of the decor pieces together. I DIY'd the mobile, ottoman, bunting and deer bust (hello, nesting!). Plus, we had so much fun treasure hunting for the furniture (although Scott got slightly fatigued with the never-ending rug options that were Amazon primed our way;).
Here is the final product:
Another huge THANK YOU to Chris of Chris Loring Photography for capturing these special first days at home with Stirling!
