As a Colorado wedding planner, I prefer event design that is classic, simple and approachable. I most enjoy creating looks that truly reflect a couple's style as opposed to a style that mimics the latest trends or pinterest favs. A wedding design, in my opinion, should make guests feel as though they're pulled up to the couple's very own dining room table. Comfortable. Authentic. Hospitable.
That's why I loved creating this styled wedding so much! Nested into a mountainside at Idaho Springs, Colorado's Blackstone Rivers Ranch, this shoot was the ultimate excuse to use simple details to highlight the already stunning venue. Neutrals are my jam and I ran with a clean palette here. A modern navy stunner of a suit, loose garlands, and a pop of berry on the lips (for good measure, of course) were just a few of the details that made me giddy! (Plus enter an amazing bridal suite and masculine groom's room, plus a killer stone fireplace at Blackstone Rivers Ranch and I'm obsessed).
